The Garden Room

This was our second go around with the Garden Room. My daughter was married there in 1994 and when my son told us he was getting married, we choose the Garden Room again. We can't say enough about Laura and her guidance thru the whole process. I cant say enough about the facility, cleanliness, and it is decorated beautifully. Both times we chose to go with their recommendations for flowers, DJ and photographer and could not have been happier with them and their services. We chose the Mexican buffet and got any compliments on the food. We were not rushed thru dinner and the food was left out for a reasonable amount of time and our guests were able to go for second and third helpings. I was a little disappointed on that the dishes were not cleared from the dinner tables once the buffet was closed however.. I don't have anymore children to worry about getting married, but if I ever need a party place, this is the place to go. Thanks to all of you.

Attended a birthday party on June 26, 2011 for Mr. Rudy Obad. From the time we arrived at the Garden Room we where greeted at the door by two staff members that where very cordial. The room was beautiful and perfectly arranged with the buffet off to the side in another room. We where directed to dinner by a staff member by tables. Everything ran smoothly. The food was excellent and the cakes where yummy. Hope I get a chance to go back for another event.

Our wedding was on Friday, 12/17/10. We greatly appreciate all of the help we received from our wedding coordinator, Laura. She was just great! Her and the staff made it very easy for us to keep everything on track. We received information packets and checklists that made such a difference on the days before the wedding. We decided to go with the wedding package upgrade where they decorate the tables and place the centerpieces for us and everything looked beautiful! The staff welcomed my husband and I as we arrived as well as all of our guests. They helped everyone find their tables and helped them with the gifts. Laura was also the bar tender and she made excellent drinks. The dinner was buffet style and my husband and I were taken care of. She brought us our plates and served us and took care of everything we needed. I cannot thank them enough. They were all great to work with, very professional and always friendly.

There isn't a cake or food testing and so we were a bit unsure of what to expect, however, we were very pleasantly surprised. Both the food and the cake were excellent!

The security guard was very friendly and super helpful. As we left he helped us load up the gifts.

Thank you so much for your help on our wedding day! We really appreciate it.
The vendor referral list made our life so much easier.

I have had three daughters who all have used the Garden Room over the past seven years, two at this facility and one at their other facility in La Habra. Both are beautiful and we were so pleased to hear that our last daughter wanted to get married there too.

The quality of the food and service is just excellent and they have not raised their prices in the years we've used them. The value is simply remarkable. In addition to the great food and service, the place is super CLEAN! We attended a wedding for my nephew over 12 years ago and the place looks as clean and as new as it did then. We even noticed several upgrades over the past few years that have made it even better.

We got married (La Habra location) just a few weeks ago and all of our guests loved it. They raved about the food, and the dj that the venue helped us choose. It is a beautiful place to get married. There are rules, however I have never known a place that holds such events to not have rules. The staff was great and everything was ran very well for us that day. They were very helpful and whenever I needed a question to be answered they did efficiently. It was so beautiful and we couldn't have asked for a better day!! The only down fall that day was the construction work that was being done on the street, but there wasn't anything they could have done to prevent that. Thank you Laura for all your help and running everything so smoothly!!!

We just had our wedding reception at the Garden Room in La Habra a week ago. It was the best experience ever. The staff was very very helpful. They were on top of everything. The food was delicious and the cake was amazing. Laura was the party captain on duty that evening and she was the one i dealt with when we signed our contract and when we did our final. Lisa the owner was also very helpful in answering any questions i had when i would call even if it was after hours. I thank you all very much for making this special day very very memorable. Everything went perfect that evening (except for my dress bussel which broke before the grand entrance but the staff was great and they helped pin it up for me with safety pins). I am so grateful to you all. Lonnie the security guard was also very polite and worked with us regarding a alcohol incident. I would definitely recommend this facility to other couples that are looking for a venue . Thank you very very much to all the Staff at both the La Habra Garden Room and The Garden Grove Garden Room for all your help in making this a truly memorable event!!!

Well we had my daughter Quinceanera in June we really had great time and Diane was very help full very nice, she wait for us, all the time we need to serve dinner, since our guest show up late,
many rules but some times you need it with all this teens we had, I was afraid of all my friends and family with their kids since where very strict with the kids, but we all have very good time no worries, no body complain we all have great time, food was great, we was a little worry about the food since, we don't give you the chance to taste the food prior to the event, but we was impress with the food , I went to many Quinceanera and the food is very bad, and other complement the
ice tea!!! we love the ice tea ,very good, Chris the DJ they recommended from Silver Disc Entertainment was excellent and very professional, all very organized I really want a thank allot to Diane she was very very good with a very nice personality, and the security guy was very polite with every body no body complain
even do we have to talk to him regarding different issues, but he lways was there to help us, the flowers on the main table where very pretty we all have very good time no regrets, all we received from our friends and family where complements, my Daughter had a great time.
I want to thank Kim since she give us advise regarding the DJ and who can be a good choice for our party thank you.

Having our wedding here was the perfect choice. The Garden Room does have rules about sneaking in your own alcohol, and trying to help keep the wedding running on time. Alcoholics or unprepared people would have challenges here. The day of our wedding quite a few guests (hispanic and guy friends) were running late, the garden room asked me if I wanted to give them more time and delay the wedding or proceed with the wedding without them. How rude of them to offer such a choice (Sarcasm for the slow).

The flowers were better than any florist we visited. Diane was awesome to work with. The big bouncer guy was awesome with my friends (who are known to get in trouble any where they go) and helped get all of our presents to the car. The service was awesome and efficient.

The Garden Room helped make this day perfect for us and take off a lot of stress. The prices couldn't be beat, the chapel was great because we chose who we want to marry us (many churches won't allow that)and even the older people that think it's mandatory to get married in a church loved the chapel.

Our only hiccups were with our DJ and Photographer which were people WE chose outside of their referral list  and after looking at many others. They'll have their own seperate reviews on their website.

My only dissappointment is that I'm getting married once because I would marry again here in a heartbeat.

Oh my gosh what an adorable place! I had an absolute blast here a while back and just had to leave a comment. Finally a place where everything is in one location, no extra driving. The Roast Beef melted in my mouth, the cake was so beautiful with flowers down the front. But above all that was the staff who ran the event. What a great bunch of people who worked hard and were so friendly. I have some great photos to remember the great time we had.

I loved my wedding at the Garden Room. It was so nice to have everything taken care of in house. We used the recommended photographer, videographer, pastor, and DJ. All were professional and we loved the product. There are rules for weddings here, but we found them to make our day effortless and worry free. We were able to personalize our wedding to accommodate family traditions with no problems. We have heard only positive comments from guests, and have friends who booked their weddings at the Garden Room after attending ours.

My sister got married at the Garden Room and it was beautiful! I was a bridesmaid, and as soon as we got there people were ready to assist us, up to the bridal room. It was nice to have a coordinator help with all the details. My sister (the bride) and her groom, seemed to be pretty calm and confident that everything would be perfect, and it was. The whole night was a blast and everyone enjoyed themselves. The staff was very professional and courteous. The security guard even helped me put all the gifts in the car since I was the one in charge of them. I wish I would have been able to have such good service at my wedding. I contracted a place that was not so beautiful nor organized.

I can't believe that anyone could have such a bad experience at the Garden Room! My wedding was in April 2008 and I have nothing but great things to say about the service we received from start to finish. Everyone was very efficient and things ran very smoothly because we knew all the rules ahead of time before we signed the contract! We knew what to expect. The place could not stay that clean and beautiful without those rules in place. Otherwise, you would have to rent just any ordinary hall where you have to do all of the work, without any rules (TACKY). Everyone was very nice to me and my husband even that "BIG" Guy who was the security guard. He was such a sweetheart. If it weren't for him keeping an eye on my guests, I probably would not have received my entire deposit back.

We could not have asked for more at the Garden Room in Garden Grove. Lisa and Diane were knowledgable, helpful, and a delight to work with. They took care of everything so we could just relax and enjoy our daughters wedding. My daughter fell in love the place when she saw the 2 spiral staircases and the beautiful facilities. I liked the one stop shopping.

On the day of the wedding Diane was there taking care of every detail and the wedding could not have run smoother. This is an extremely professionally run operation with a friendly helpful staff. Lisa and Diane made us feel comfortable every step of the way.

Ricky (security) was terrific. He was extemely professional and helpful. He even loaded up all of the presents in the car at the end of the night.

The only challenge I had all night was tryng to keep from crying. I failed but it was tears of joy.

We followed Diane's advice and used their recommended DJ and Photographer and were very pleased. They were familiar with the layout which gave us a sense of confidence.

It was so convenient having the chapel, food, reception, flowers and cake all managed by Lisa and Diane and in one location.

Many of our guests commented on the beatiful wedding.

We looked at all of the wedding facilities in Orange County and are extremely pleased we picked the Garden Room. The facilities are excellent but what made the whole wedding perfect was Lisa, Diane and Ricky.

Amanda (the bride) said it was the perfect wedding. I could not agree more.

Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into making our wedding reception so special. We greatly appreciate the way you helped us coordinate all of the details of the reception. Without the deadlines, information packet and checklist we would have been overwhelmed by the details and unable to enjoy the engagement as much as we did. Thank you also for your attention to detail. From the flowers to the food to the cake and the tables/table centerpieces everything was even better than we imagined. Finally, thank you to all the staff who worked at the reception. We felt pampered the whole time and we could relax because we knew the guests were well taken care of. The professional appearance and demeanor of the staff was also greatly appreciated by us and our guests. We enjoyed the reception and recieved so many compliments from our guests that we will definitely recommend the Garden Room without reservation. Thanks again for making our reception memorable. You helped add the "happy" to our "happily ever after".

My wedding was absolutely amazing!!! Everything worked out perfectly! I did not have to worry about one thing on my wedding day, there was no mishaps everything went perfect and smooth. This is all due thanks to KIM. She is absolutely wonderful!! I can not praise her enough! She single handedly made my experience PERFECT! I love the Garden Room and would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. Affordable price, absolutely beautiful inside, worry and hassle free, great food! Amazing staff! They even made sure we got a plate of appetizers since we were busy out taking pictures. They served us at our head table everything was set up beautiful. I just can not say enough they are the PERFECT wedding venue! Thank you for making my special day simply perfect!! Love you guys!!

I too was skeptical after searching for directions I came across the negative reviews. However, after watching the staff and especially the coordinator, Kim, I was thoroughly impressed with the entire execution of the entire event. I even told one of the staff members how well the wedding and reception went in the ladies restroom and how skeptical I was after seeing the reviews. Exceptional food, excellant service and the place was beautiful. Staff was polite and efficient and friendly. I would definately recommend this establishment to family and friends.

Had our wedding here and was totally satified. We are still hearing comments from our guests on how great the food and service was. No complaints here.
